cdict is operated by Big Mean Data Inc. (“we”, “us”). Contact: info@bigmeandata.com.

1. Acceptance

By using cdict you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service description

cdict provides Chinese dictionary search, including Simplified, Traditional, pinyin, and English lookups. We may update or change features at any time.

3. Appropriate use

• No abuse of the service or infrastructure (e.g., denial of service, scraping at excessive rates).
• No unlawful or infringing use.
• No attempts to bypass security or access data you are not authorized to access.

4. Intellectual property and license

The service, logo, and content are owned by Big Mean Data Inc. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the service for individual use. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercialize content without permission.

5. Content accuracy

Dictionary content is provided "as is" without warranties of correctness, completeness, or suitability. Use at your own discretion.

6. AI-generated content

Parts of the dictionary content and explanations may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. Big Mean Data Inc. does not guarantee correctness of AI-generated content and is not responsible for any loss, harm, or decisions made based on it. Use independent judgment and verify critical information.

7. Accounts

cdict currently does not require accounts. If accounts are introduced later, additional terms may apply, and you will be responsible for keeping credentials secure.

8. Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Availability

We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance or outages may occur.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, abuse, or to protect the service.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, cdict and Big Mean Data Inc. are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant Big Mean Data Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate them without obligation to you.
